Custom OEM machinery-part work includes stainless-steel investment casting, with broader material and manufacturing directions chosen around the actual component. CT4–CT8 casting precision and ±0.02mm machining are separate references for allocating drawing requirements to the appropriate work.
Choose the machinery material and manufacturing route
Stainless steel, steel, brass, copper, aluminum, iron and plastic are material directions, while investment casting, sand casting, machining, welding and forging are process directions. Allocate them to the supplied material and geometry rather than assuming every material follows every route. Mold work, casting, deburring, machining and surface treatment are available work stages to define in the component plan.
Allocate CT4–CT8 and ±0.02mm to the drawing
Broaching, drilling, milling, turning, tapping and Wire are machining directions for discussion against the required geometry. Clarify the actual Wire process before selecting it. Identify which dimensions remain cast and which receive machining, then agree the controlled limits and measurement conditions for those specific dimensions.
Machinery surfaces and applicable engineering documents
Polishing, passivating, sandblasting, zinc plating and black oxide provide distinct finishing directions. Select the treated areas and final condition to suit the actual machinery interfaces and duty. ISO, GB, DIN, JIS, ANSI, BSW, ASTM, ASME, BS, API and EN are reference families requiring the relevant document and edition. Clarify the exact IS09001:2015 and TUV documents and their applicable organization/site scope where required, then align quantity, inspection criteria and OEM responsibility with the accepted component.
