Titanium-alloy air-compressor part requests combine precision lost wax investment casting with CNC machining and OEM/ODM service. Stainless steel ball blasting is the surface-treatment direction, with stainless steel describing the blasting media. The actual titanium grade, compressor component and finished acceptance requirements need to be defined for the project.
Compressor component and titanium grade
Identify the actual air-compressor part and supplied titanium-alloy specification on its drawing. Describe the working duty, dimensions and any pressure or temperature requirements the component must meet. Allocate the cast and CNC-machined locations with their own dimensional limits and measurement criteria.
Stainless steel ball blasting
Define the areas receiving the stainless-steel-ball treatment and the expected final surface condition. Agree how that condition is assessed alongside the cast and machined dimensions. Keep the surface request connected to the actual titanium component and compressor duty concerned.
Engineering documents and scope
Engineering reference families are ISO, DIN, ASTM, AISI, ASME, EN, BS, JIS, NF, CAS and GB. Select the actual applicable document, edition and grade, including clarification of the intended CAS document. Define the dimensional, surface and inspection criteria needed for acceptance under those selected requirements.
Quality references and OEM/ODM responsibility
ISO9001:2015 is a quality-system reference, while DNV and PED terms need the actual document and object scope clarified. Establish evidence for any current certification or compressor-service approval requirement relevant to the selected component. Agree quantity and design/manufacturing responsibility with the accepted drawing and inspection documentation.
