Custom OEM/ODM casting requests for mechanical and electrical components include aluminum-alloy die-casting and zinc-alloy directions. Dimensions follow drawings or samples, with the supplied material and selected casting route defining the actual component request.

Aluminum, zinc and separate stainless requests

Stainless-steel and investment-wax-casting requests require their own material and route confirmation. Identify the actual component and supplied specification before allocating casting and secondary work. Selecting the route at this stage prevents broader material directions from becoming an assumed single configuration.

Production work around the drawing or sample

CNC machining, stamping-machine, fastener-machine and spring-machine references describe broader production directions. Confirm which work applies to the selected component instead of treating every machine reference as part of one manufacturing sequence. PDF, 2D/3D, DWG, IGS, STEP and SolidWorks are drawing inputs for defining the required geometry and controlled dimensions.

Finishing the mechanical or electrical component

Painting, powder coating, plating and polishing are surface-treatment directions for the selected material. Define the treated areas, component interfaces and accepted final condition. The actual mechanical or electrical duty should determine the relevant dimensional, surface and functional acceptance requirements.

OEM/ODM inspection and conformity responsibility

ISO9001 is a quality-system reference, while RoHS requires the actual conformity object and document basis. Establish applicable current documents and responsible organization/site scope where required for the selected work. Agree quantity, inspection characteristics, methods and records with the accepted drawing or sample. Allocate OEM/ODM manufacturing and inspection responsibilities around the same material, route, surface and component-duty requirements.
