Specify an aluminum machinery part through its casting geometry, machined details and coated surface. This OEM service combines lost-wax investment casting with machining and powder coating, with the actual component requirements agreed for the order.
Choose the aluminum grade and governing requirement
Identify the material grade needed for the machinery component and the complete specification it should meet. GB, ASTM, AISI, DIN and BS are standard directions for the enquiry. Connect the selected requirement to the part geometry and intended use so the material request is clear.
Define the machined and powder-coated areas
Investment casting and machining form the process scope for the aluminum part. Mark the areas requiring machining and the finished dimensions they need to achieve. Specify which surfaces require powder coating and define their finished condition together with the component drawing. Define whether the dimensional acceptance applies before or after coating.
- Cast component
- Define the aluminum material and geometry needed for the machinery.
- Finished component
- Identify the machined dimensions and powder-coated surfaces that require acceptance.
Agree the OEM batch and quality scope
The minimum order reference is 100 pieces. Define the required quantity together with the material, casting, machining and coating scope for the component. Establish the dimensional and surface acceptance needed for the finished part. Where ISO9001:2015 is required for the order, agree the relevant certificate scope alongside the manufacturing requirements.
