Custom non-standard cast-metal components are offered with machining, polishing and OEM/ODM service. Drawings or samples can define the required dimensions, while painting, powder coating, plating and polishing provide finish directions for the actual material and component.

Build the part definition from a drawing or sample

Inputs include PDF, 2D/3D, DWG, IGS, STEP and SolidWorks formats. Identify the geometry and dimensions that the custom component must meet, including any mating interfaces. This gives the non-standard request a specific part definition against which the manufacturing and finishing work can be discussed.

Allocate the material and manufacturing work

Agree the actual alloy and casting route for the component before assigning later operations. Equipment and work directions include CNC machining, stamping machines and fastener or spring machines, with their roles to be defined for the requested item. Keep that allocation connected to the geometry and finished dimensions that govern the component's acceptance.

Select the required surface treatment

Choose painting, powder coating, plating or polishing where appropriate to the selected material and work. Identify the surfaces involved and the finished condition required at mating or visible areas. Defining those areas makes the surface request part of the component's dimensional and appearance acceptance.

Agree the OEM/ODM deliverable

Bring the drawing or sample, selected alloy, casting route, assigned operations and surface requirements into one order definition. State the intended application and the dimensional and inspection criteria needed for the actual component. This gives the customized machining and finishing inquiry a concrete scope for review before ordering.
