    Lost Wax Casting Investment Casting

Custom nickel-based superalloy housing components combine precision lost wax investment casting with CNC machining for OEM projects. The housing drawing and selected nickel alloy define the work to be evaluated. Exact grade, material condition and operating duty should accompany the enquiry so that a general superalloy description becomes a component-specific manufacturing requirement.

Plan the housing's casting and machining sequence

CNC machining and micro machining are offered alongside broaching, drilling, etching or chemical machining, laser machining, milling, turning, wire EDM and other machining services. Rapid prototyping is another service choice, and punching can be discussed where the component requires it. Select operations around the housing's actual geometry and mating requirements rather than assuming every process forms part of one production sequence.

Keep the nickel grade distinct from other metals

The broader material capabilities include aluminum, brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, precious metals, stainless steel and steel alloys. These are separate project options rather than equivalents for a nickel-based superalloy housing. Describe the intended temperature, media and material condition when discussing the nickel grade; the alloy family alone does not define the working limits of a finished component.

Resolve geometry and painted surfaces through the files

OEM enquiries can use IGS, STP, STL and X-T geometry files. Identify machining datums, mating dimensions and surfaces that require inspection, and include drawing-based acceptance criteria. Painted finishes can also be discussed with the required substrate preparation and coating requirements. Linking these details to the housing revision gives casting, machining and finishing a common definition of the finished part.
