Custom machine-part castings support OEM/ODM work in ductile iron, grey iron, steel, alloy steel and high-nickel steel. Precision die casting and investment casting are project directions, with customized shape and size. Select the actual material and casting route together for the intended component.
Machining and painted surfaces
Drilling, milling, turning and grinding are available machining operations. Define which areas require those operations and how they relate to the cast shape. Baking painting and painting are surface options, so the coating request should identify the relevant areas and the required condition of the completed component.
Physical inspection and FEA evaluation
Evaluation support includes X-ray inspection, radiography, laser-tracker inspection and mechanical-property inspection. FEA is also available as an analysis direction. Choose the applicable evaluation scope around the part's geometry and requirements, distinguishing physical inspection of the casting from the analysis used to assess the component design.
Durability criteria and sample review
Durability is a qualitative direction for these custom metal castings. Define the actual service requirements and the criteria that will be used to assess the chosen material, shape and painted condition. Samples are supplied, allowing sample acceptance to be discussed alongside the required machining and evaluation work.
An effective machine-part request combines the iron or steel selection, casting route, customized geometry and necessary operations. Adding the coating, sample and evaluation criteria provides a coherent basis for reviewing the proposed part and its intended durability requirements.
