Custom iron sand-casting and investment-casting requests include steel and stainless-steel foundry directions. The actual grade and component drawing define the enquiry. Agree the selected casting route and any separate forming or assembly operations needed for the requested object.
Metal selection and operation scope
Zinc, aluminum, copper and steel are further material directions. Punching, stamping, bending and riveting are forming or assembly directions to scope for the actual part. Identify the material and geometry before agreeing those operations. OEM and ODM requests are accepted, with customized thickness and color available for the selected component.
Drawing, thickness and accepted geometry
Drawing formats include 2D and 3D, CAD, DWG, STEP, PDF and IGS. Define the thickness and dimensions relevant to the part, including the geometry controlled by the selected casting or forming operations.
- Component definition
- Identify the object, material grade, drawing revision and working conditions. Agree the manufacturing scope for those requirements.
- Dimensional acceptance
- Specify the required thickness and controlled dimensions. Define how the finished geometry will be checked for the actual component.
Color, surface and testing request
Electroplating, powder coating, sand blasting and lacquer are surface-treatment directions. Select the finish and color for the actual metal and define the treated areas and accepted appearance. Testing is offered, with methods and criteria to be agreed. Bring those inspection requirements together with the material, drawing and selected operations when defining the manufactured result.
