Custom investment-casting requests cover hardware and industrial metal parts with OEM support. Machining can be included where needed, followed by surface treatment such as polishing, with sizes and dimensional requirements defined by the customer's drawing.

Settle the material before developing the hardware detail

Confirm whether the actual request calls for brass or steel and identify the required grade. Keep that selection attached to the component drawing when agreeing the investment-casting work. A material name should describe the part being requested, while the drawing explains the geometry and interfaces that make it useful in its intended assembly.

Distinguish cast form from finished connections

Identify the areas that can be accepted in the cast condition and the interfaces that need machining. The dimensional requirements follow the customer's drawing, so define the limits at the locations where fit matters. This allows the casting and optional machining to be discussed as connected portions of one hardware component.

Give polishing a clear surface scope

Polishing is a surface-treatment direction for the custom part. Describe the surfaces to be polished and the appearance required, while identifying any mating areas whose dimensions must be accepted in their finished condition. That distinction keeps the visual requirement related to the component's actual geometry.

Prepare the order of 100 pieces

The minimum order is 100 pieces. Combine the selected material, drawing-defined dimensions, machining scope and polish acceptance in the order definition. For an industrial or hardware request, include the component's intended assembly and the criteria that will be used to accept the finished work.

  1. Confirm the material and drawing revision.
  2. Locate the interfaces requiring finished dimensions.
  3. Define the polished surfaces and final acceptance.
