Custom stainless-steel parts combine a high-precision lost-wax investment-casting direction with CNC precision machining. Size follows the customer's 3D drawing, while the design can be based on the customer's samples. The minimum quantity is negotiable for the actual custom work.

Customer samples connected to the 3D design

Identify the component represented by the sample and the geometry that the drawing needs to define. Establish the selected stainless grade alongside its form and mating interfaces. Relating the customer sample to the 3D dimensions gives the design inquiry a clear part and a defined set of requirements to review before the manufacturing scope is chosen.

Cast dimensions and CNC acceptance

Define the casting-tolerance requirement for the actual component and identify the dimensions requiring CNC work. The cast form and finished interfaces should each have the acceptance needed for the part's role. Agree those requirements against the selected drawing, so the precision-casting and machining directions remain connected to a specific geometry and material.

Function and negotiable manufacturing scope

Describe the operating function and conditions the component needs to address. Its material, interfaces, dimensions and finished acceptance should relate to that intended use. The customer drawing and sample-based design can then support a focused discussion of the required casting and CNC work. With the component definition established, the negotiable minimum quantity can be considered alongside the selected operations and acceptance scope for the custom stainless part.
