Custom aluminum machinery-part enquiries include die casting, deburring and surface treatment. Investment casting and forging are additional manufacturing directions for review. Choose the actual component and route with its material grade before defining the finished dimensional and surface requirements.

Machinery component and manufacturing route

Identify the part drawing and intended machinery duty. Select the die-cast, investment-cast or forging direction that belongs to the requested component. Agree the geometry and accepted manufacturing result for the chosen aluminum grade and route.

Drawing tolerance and deburring

Casting tolerance follows the drawing. Identify the dimensions and accepted results for the selected process, together with any deburring requirements. Define the required surface condition after processing so the component review concerns the actual finished machinery part.

Chromate finish and component checks

Chromate is a finish direction, with surface treatment specified according to requirements. Identify the surfaces it covers and the required finished condition. The aluminum machinery-component request includes 100% inspection with agreed dimensional and surface checks. Set out the accepted results for those checks alongside the drawing and manufacturing route.

  1. Select the aluminum grade, machinery part and actual manufacturing route.
  2. Identify drawing dimensions, tolerance coverage and deburring requirements.
  3. Agree the Chromate surface condition and inspection acceptance for the finished part.
