Custom aluminum-alloy parts are offered through die casting and investment casting, with OEM/ODM service and CNC machining to customer requirements. The tolerance range is ±0.01 to ±0.05 mm, with 100% inspection on critical dimensions. Material, route, dimensional acceptance and surface treatment should be defined for the individual component.

Choose the route for the aluminum geometry

Start with the selected aluminum grade and the actual component shape. Discuss die casting or investment casting against that geometry and the required outcome. For OEM or ODM work, identify which design requirements are fixed and which need development so the casting and subsequent CNC work address the same part definition.

Connect the tolerance range to critical dimensions

Mark the dimensions to which the ±0.01 to ±0.05 mm range is intended to apply. Agree the manufacturing stage, datum references and measurement criteria for those dimensions. The 100% inspection statement concerns critical dimensions; identify that set explicitly and define any other inspection requirements separately.

Specify painting, coating, plating or polishing

Painting, powder coating, plating and polishing are available surface choices. Select the treatment for the chosen alloy and its required appearance or function, and mark the surfaces receiving it. Consider the finished dimensional acceptance alongside the surface requirement so the casting, CNC and finishing proposal remains consistent.

Keep the OEM/ODM acceptance specific

Use the component drawing to connect aluminum grade, casting route, CNC dimensions and chosen finish. Record the critical dimensions and the inspection acceptance attached to them in the same revision. This provides a concrete basis for reviewing the custom part without extending a dimensional inspection statement to unrelated material or performance tests.
