Custom lost wax and investment casting enquiries include ADC12 and A380 aluminum directions, with iron, stainless steel and brass requests also offered. Carbon steel, stainless steel and aluminum alloys form the broader material menu. Select the actual grade and component geometry before defining the required casting and finished surface.
Material and application requirements
Dimensions are customized for the selected part. Industrial, commercial, household and automotive components are named application directions. Provide the drawing and working conditions relevant to that component, then agree the actual material and route. The grade selection should describe the required part rather than imply that all available materials are interchangeable.
Dimensional and roughness acceptance
The tolerance reference is +/- 0.02 mm, with roughness referenced at Ra3.2-Ra6.3. Identify the dimensions and manufacturing stage to which those values apply. Confirm the roughness unit and the surfaces requiring that condition. Agree these criteria with the drawing and the accepted result for the component.
Surface treatment and inspection scope
Chrome plating, electrophoresis, painting and powder coating are surface directions. Choose a treatment suitable for the actual material and define its coverage and appearance. Quality control states 100% inspection, with the required characteristics and acceptance criteria to agree for the requested casting. Confirm the grade, geometry, selected finish and dimensional and surface inspection requirements together for the manufacturing enquiry.
