Investment-cast brass elbow fittings and direction connectors are offered in the Flare Series. Two actual pipe-size options are available: 1/4x1/8 and 1/4x1/4, both with the same Flare Series type and brass material.
Choose between the two actual size combinations
Select the option that corresponds to the required connection and confirm its units and end-size definitions. Identify which end each part of the size description represents. This gives the fitting request a clear relationship to the mating components and helps the selected option form part of a complete connection drawing.
Define the ends and direction change
Provide the actual mating-end, thread and sealing geometry required for the assembly. Identify the direction change needed from the elbow and how its ends must relate to one another. The Flare Series name and size choice should be accompanied by the connection details that determine whether the fitting will match the intended arrangement.
Agree application conditions with the pipe class
The pipe class is Not Rated. Define the pressure, temperature and media requirements for the intended application and agree the fitting's relevant acceptance before selection. Keep those conditions with the chosen size combination and connection geometry, so the order describes the actual use being considered.
Specify final surface and inspection acceptance
Identify the required surface condition and the dimensions used to accept the completed brass connector. Relate those criteria to the mating ends and the selected option. These details give the fitting inquiry a practical basis for reviewing connection fit, surface requirements and application acceptance together.
