Aluminum-alloy casting enquiries cover high- and low-pressure routes, sand casting and investment casting, with small, medium and large production-series discussions. Steel, brass and magnesium are additional metal choices. The selected material, component shape and series requirements provide the basis for choosing an appropriate manufacturing route.

Define the series and the component together

Small, medium and large series describe production enquiries whose actual batch requirements should be established for the project. Define the component grade, geometry and dimensional requirements alongside that series. This gives the route discussion a specific part to address. It also keeps production needs connected to the required finished component.

Keep material enquiries route-specific

Aluminum, steel, brass and magnesium requirements should each identify the selected grade and compatible process. Plastic and rubber are separate material enquiries, with their manufacturing route and deliverable defined independently of metal investment casting. Establish that distinction before describing the finished part. The resulting enquiry can then address the actual material and component rather than a universal process menu.

Choose the surface condition for its use

A burr-free condition, electrolytic polishing, anodizing and powder coating are the named surface options. Select a compatible finish and identify the surfaces on which it is required. Application enquiries include electrical appliances, building accessories and sports equipment. The intended component use should inform the relevant surface, dimensional and functional acceptance requirements. Agree the inspection needed for the selected part together with its grade, route and series definition.
