OEM lost wax investment casting supports custom steel components for auto parts, electronic components and the instrument industry. Stainless, carbon and alloy steel choices allow the enquiry to focus on the material and dimensions required for the actual component, with surface treatment selected alongside the finished geometry.
Define the steel and component drawing
Identify the steel grade and the dimensions that determine the component's fit in its intended assembly. Customer-defined geometry should include the critical interfaces and dimensional acceptance needed for the auto, electronic or instrument application. Drawings can use 2D PDF/CAD or 3D IGES/STEP, keeping the dimensional requirements connected to the same component revision.
Assign the machining values to particular dimensions
Machining values include 0.02mm, 0.01mm, 0.10mm and 0.15mm. Agree what the selected value represents and which drawing dimensions it governs before using it as an acceptance criterion. The useful comparison is between the actual machined interface and its required finished condition, rather than assuming a single value applies to the entire casting.
Choose the steel surface condition
Powder paint spraying, zinc plating and galvanizing are available surface-treatment choices. Specify the selected treatment for the steel grade and identify the faces to be treated. Include the final appearance and dimensional requirements for those surfaces so that coating and component fit are reviewed together.
Connect the enquiry to the governing documents
Standards references cover JIS, BS, ANSI, DIN, GB, ASME, ASTM and AISI. Name the applicable specification and edition for the selected steel component. If ISO9001:2015 documentation forms part of the project requirements, confirm the current certificate and its scope alongside the drawing and inspection acceptance.
