OEM/ODM stainless-steel parts combine silica-sol investment/lost-wax casting and a precision-machining direction for the selected component. Size follows the customer's 3D drawing, with fully custom design work and a negotiable minimum order. The actual grade and dimensional requirements should be defined for the intended part.
A 3D drawing for the custom design
The design direction is 100% custom-made, with the customer's 3D geometry providing the basis for size. Use that geometry to identify the component shape and the interfaces important to fit. Select the actual stainless grade and material condition alongside the intended function, so the custom design and manufacturing discussion address the same component requirement.
Casting and precision-machined dimensions
Silica-sol investment/lost-wax casting and precision machining form the work directions for the part. The casting-tolerance direction is qualitative, with actual numerical requirements to agree for the selected dimensions. Identify the cast geometry and surfaces requiring machining, then define their respective measurement, surface and inspection acceptance. This gives the precision-part inquiry a clear dimensional scope.
Negotiable minimum and the selected work scope
The minimum-order requirement is negotiable for the custom part. Define the requested order together with the grade, 3D geometry and casting/machining requirements to make the inquiry specific. The component's mating interfaces, operating conditions and finished acceptance should be considered with that scope, allowing the OEM/ODM discussion to focus on the actual stainless-steel work.
