OEM and ODM custom casting covers precision industrial component enquiries, including wear-resistant designs. Material, size, color and surface treatment follow customer requirements, with casting, machining when needed and surface treatment forming the available manufacturing scope.

Define the wear duty before choosing the material

For a wear-resistant component, identify the actual operating conditions and wear mechanism that the design must address. Select the material grade and any treatment requirements against that duty. Agree the applicable performance acceptance for the part so the material decision is connected to a defined use rather than a broad wear-resistance label.

Select a casting route and machining plan

Lost wax investment casting and sand casting are routes to discuss for the selected component. Use the drawing geometry and required acceptance to establish the appropriate process. Add machining where the part needs it, identifying the operations and finished dimensions concerned. The resulting plan should distinguish the cast geometry from any interfaces accepted after machining.

Coordinate custom size, color and surface

Define the component size and the final surface treatment requested for the project. Include the chosen color reference and appearance acceptance alongside the dimensional criteria. Review the selected finish with the material and duty requirements, especially where a treated surface also performs a functional role in the component.

Review the industrial application and quality scope

General industry, auto parts, agricultural machinery and pumps are application areas for enquiry. Establish the actual component duty and inspection criteria for the selected application. Review the relevant ISO 9001:2015 quality-system scope with those requirements, then approve the material, route and finished acceptance together for the custom part.
