    OEM/ODM Custom Manufacturing / Prototyping

Custom aluminum parts can be developed through high-pressure or precision die casting, with OEM/ODM manufacturing and prototyping available. Size, material and surface finish can be selected for the component, with ±0.05mm and custom tolerance requirements to discuss.

Choose the material and process combination

Material inquiries include zinc, aluminum, magnesium and stainless steel. Agree the actual grade and suitable process combination for the requested part, rather than treating the material range as one universal casting configuration. Automotive, electronics, industrial-machinery and medical-device components each need their own geometry and purchasing acceptance.

Specify the surface at the design stage

Mill finish, anodizing and powder coating are available finish directions. Select the required surface together with the component dimensions and identify any areas whose fit or appearance needs particular control. If another treatment is requested, state its exact name and required final condition for confirmation.

Allocate tolerance and inspection methods

The tolerance direction is ±0.05mm, with custom tolerances available. Quality control includes 100% inspection, with CMM, projector and caliper methods available alongside salt-spray testing. Define which dimensions and surfaces will be evaluated, and agree the relevant test conditions and acceptance rather than assuming a corrosion-test duration or a tolerance for every area.

Connect prototype files to the final requirement

STP/STEP, IGS, PRT and X_T model formats can communicate the component geometry. Use the files together with the selected material, finished dimensions and surface requirements when defining a prototype or production request. Where ISO 9001, IATF 16949 or RoHS documentation is required, establish the applicable holder and product, material or process scope for that requirement.
