Technologysilica sol casting, composite of lost wax casting, water glass casting
Drawing-custom OEM and ODM casting requests cover machinery and motor parts in mild steel, carbon steel and WCB steel directions. Silica sol lost wax casting is the primary process direction. Casting tolerance references are CT6–8 and an unsigned 0.5 mm, with their actual dimensional scope to agree.
Steel selection for the motor or machinery part
Select the exact grade and identify the component's geometry and working duty. Use the drawing to define dimensions controlling its fit in the motor or machinery assembly. Agree the material and functional acceptance for that part without assuming the named steel directions are equivalent grades for every use.
Silica sol and additional casting technologies
Additional technology directions include composite lost wax and water glass casting. Agree the route assigned to the selected grade and component rather than assuming every named technology is required in one sequence. Establish the accepted casting condition for the chosen process and identify any final-surface or secondary-work requirements that the part definition needs.
CT6–8 and the 0.5 mm reference
Allocate the casting-grade and dimensional references to the relevant drawing features. Confirm the governing document, actual tolerance form and acceptance at the applicable production stage. Keep CT6–8 and the 0.5 mm reference distinct when defining those requirements. Agree the material and dimensional records needed for the project together with its final quantity and complete OEM or ODM work scope.
