OEM custom steel-cast pump impellers are defined from the customer's 3D drawing, with casting, machining when needed and surface treatment. The delivered surface follows the customer's demand, and quality control includes 100% inspection. The impeller design and intended pump duty establish the component requirements to be agreed.
Steel requirement for the impeller
ASTM, ASME and EN are steel-material references, with ANSI, JIS, DIN and GB also among the broader standard families. Select the actual numbered standard and steel grade for the requested impeller. That choice can be connected to the material acceptance for the component and its intended pump use.
Geometry from the customer's 3D drawing
The component size follows the customer 3D design. PDF and CAD are 2D file choices, while IGES and STEP are 3D inputs for the manufacturing inquiry. Define the impeller geometry and pump interfaces in that design, together with the dimensions that require any subsequent machining.
Surface condition and full inspection
Casting, optional machining and customer-requested surface treatment make up the process scope. Select the delivered condition and agree the material, dimensional and surface checks for the impeller. The 100% inspection coverage can then address the actual component against that defined acceptance.
Intended component role
Industry, medical and agriculture are broader application directions for the custom-part service. A pump-impeller request should identify its actual component function, interfaces and intended duty before selection. Connect those conditions with the chosen steel requirement, geometry and delivered surface so the OEM inquiry describes the impeller needed for the particular assembly.
