Custom OEM machining can be discussed for aluminum and stainless-steel cast or forged components, with 4/5-axis CNC and wire EDM as service directions. The selected material, starting part and final surface define the scope of the component being developed.

Start from the casting or forging you need processed

Specify the material grade and provide the component geometry, including the condition of the starting casting or forging. Agree whether the request covers processing an existing part or a broader supply arrangement. This keeps the raw-part requirement connected to the surfaces and dimensions that must be produced by machining.

Choose axes and operations around the geometry

Define the areas requiring 4- or 5-axis CNC work and the portions to be considered for wire EDM. The wider method range includes turning, milling, drilling, broaching, etching or chemical machining and laser machining, along with rapid prototyping and micro-machining. Select the operations needed for the component rather than treating the full capability range as a mandatory sequence.

Specify the anodized or other final surface

An anodized-finish direction is available for the custom inquiry. Agree its applicability to the chosen material and identify the surfaces to be treated. For a stainless-steel request or another finish requirement, define the actual final treatment and acceptance so the appearance is aligned with the material and machined geometry.

Define precision on the component drawing

Assign the required dimensions and tolerances to the areas that control the finished part. Agree the inspection criteria and final-surface condition with the selected grade and operations. Broader metal inquiries can include brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, precious metals and steel alloys, with the material and processing combination defined for each request.
