Jewelry lost-wax casting and SLA resin rapid prototyping are service directions to define around the actual deliverable. White, black, gray, brown, clear and high-strength resin directions are available for the selected item. OEM/ODM 3D-printing work should identify whether the requested item is a resin prototype, a casting-stage deliverable or finished jewelry.

Resin selection and the jewelry deliverable

Choose the actual resin and color for the selected geometry and manufacturing stage. High-strength resin is a qualitative material direction whose required properties belong with that item definition. The service classifications are not CNC machining and not micro machining, so the actual SLA/casting scope should be clear when agreeing the work.

Six drawing formats and dimensional acceptance

Drawing formats include STEP, STP, IGES, IGS, STL and X_T. Connect the selected file to the required geometry and define dimensional acceptance for the actual deliverable. The tolerance notation is +-O.1-0.2mm, with its notation, applicable dimensions and inspection scope to confirm for the work being requested.

Four finishes and intended application

Spray painting, silk screen, chrome plating and sanding are surface-treatment directions. Apply the selected finish to the actual resin or other agreed deliverable and identify the areas it should cover. Other use directions include toys, figurines, busts, statues, sculptures, automobile and medical-device work. Define the actual component and use acceptance with its geometry and surface requirements; a medical-device inquiry also needs its specific intended-use and qualification assessment.
