Customized aluminum-alloy investment-casting enquiries cover parts for multiple industries, with broader material and manufacturing directions available. Define the actual alloy and component drawing before selecting the casting and subsequent work. Cast dimensions, machined features and surface treatment need their own accepted requirements for the finished part.
Materials and manufacturing choices
Material directions include stainless steel, steel, brass, copper, aluminum and iron. Plastic requests require a separate component and manufacturing scope. Investment casting, sand casting, machining, welding and forging are technology directions to select for the actual work. Agree which processes apply to the part rather than combining the complete menu into one fixed sequence.
Cast geometry and machined dimensions
The casting and machining references apply to different stages. Identify the relevant dimensions and acceptance requirements on the current drawing.
- Casting tolerance
- CT4-CT8 is the cast-geometry reference. Agree the dimensions and selected class for the actual component.
- Machining tolerance
- +/-0.02mm is the machining reference. Define the features and operations covered by that requirement.
Operations and selected surface condition
Broaching, drilling, milling, turning, tapping and a Wire processing direction are listed. Confirm the actual wire method before assigning its operation to the component. Service stages include moulds, casting, deburring, machining and surface treatment. Polishing, passivating, sandblasting, zinc plating and oxide black are finish choices, selected for the actual material and accepted result.
Standards and quality documents
ISO, GB, DIN, JIS, ANSI, BSW, ASTM, ASME, BS, API and EN are standard-system references requiring the actual document and grade. Certification references are IS09001: 2015 and TUV, with the intended designation, applicable documents and scope to confirm. Agree those requirements with the chosen grade, drawing, manufacturing operations and dimensional and surface acceptance.
