Custom SS304 and SS316 stainless steel precision investment casting supports OEM/ODM part enquiries with machining when needed. Sizes and surface treatment follow customer requirements. As-machined condition and several color options allow the component's manufacturing and appearance requirements to be considered within the same enquiry.
Select the exact material designation
Material enquiries include 201, 304, 316, 316L, 2205 and 17-4PH. The additional 105 and AISI132 designations should have their exact grade standard confirmed when selected. Identify the required material and component geometry together so the order has a clear technical definition. This keeps broad grade choices from substituting for the actual steel requirement.
Define machining and the required color
Optional machining can be discussed for the areas needing further work after casting. State the final dimensional condition required there and the surface treatment needed on the relevant faces. Black, white, red, green, brown and blue are named color enquiries, alongside the as-machined condition. Select the appearance appropriate to the component and define its acceptance with the finished geometry.
Review qualification and component acceptance
ISO9001, TS16949 and RoHS qualification references are available for review against the current relevant object and scope. The selected component should also have dimensional, surface and inspection criteria established for the order. These requirements connect the grade, custom size, machining and appearance plan to a consistent finished-part definition. That gives the OEM/ODM investment-casting enquiry a useful basis for evaluating the actual component and its required condition.
