Cast-iron component work supports customized size, customer surface treatment and color requirements. Die/lost-wax and lost-foam directions require the actual part/tooling and route to be selected. Axis CNC machining and drawing inputs accompany that service, with the actual component and finished acceptance to define.
Cast-iron geometry and the selected work
Choose the actual iron grade and geometry for the component or tooling requirement. Define how the die/lost-wax or lost-foam direction relates to that deliverable and its intended function. Establish the cast dimensions and machined interfaces so the route, material and geometry form one agreed manufacturing scope.
Drawing files and machining acceptance
JPEG, PDF, CAD, IGS and STP are drawing references for the request. Use the selected file to identify the actual dimensions and surfaces requiring Axis CNC work. Agree its axis scope and inspection criteria with the component's important interfaces, connecting the requested machining to the chosen cast-iron geometry and finished condition.
Surface areas and customer color
Identify the areas requiring the requested surface treatment and color. Agree their finished condition and inspection with the actual material and component function. Those appearance criteria should accompany the cast/CNC dimensional requirements for the same selected part or tooling.
Minimum-order counting and deliverable
The minimum-order reference is 50, with the counting unit to confirm. Include that basis with the selected geometry, work and surface/color acceptance. This defines the actual deliverable and quantity scope for the custom-size cast-iron service inquiry.
