Custom OEM investment-casting enquiries include aluminum alloy, steel and brass parts, with magnesium as another metal direction. Define the actual material grade and component drawing before selecting the casting and surface requirements. The required geometry and accepted finished condition should describe the part being requested.
Investment casting and powder-process enquiry
Investment casting is the stated route for the component service. For a powder-casting enquiry, define the intended material and actual manufacturing process separately. Powder coating is an available surface finish and should be specified in its finishing role. Agree which route applies to the part and what accepted result the requested process must produce.
Material and selected surface condition
Plastic and rubber requests need their own component and manufacturing scope alongside the metal directions. A burr-free surface condition is stated for the casting work. Electrolytic polishing, anodizing and powder coating are finish choices selected for the actual material. Define the areas to receive the treatment and the required appearance or surface acceptance.
Application and OEM acceptance inputs
Electrical appliances, building accessories and sports equipment are named application directions. Provide the drawing, intended working conditions and dimensional requirements for the selected component. Agree the actual material, manufacturing route and chosen surface result together, including the inspection criteria for the finished part. These requirements provide a clear basis for the OEM casting enquiry and any separately defined powder-process request.
