NameCarbon Steel Water Glass Lost Wax Precision Investment Casting
Carbon steel water glass lost wax investment casting combines the cast component route with CNC machining. Quenching and tempering, shot blasting and assembly provide further processing choices. This is a useful starting point when a carbon steel component needs both its casting geometry and its final machined condition defined together.
Set the carbon steel condition before machining acceptance
The heat-treatment provision uses two mesh belt furnaces for quenching and tempering. Establish the grade and required final condition before agreeing the machined dimensions, because the enquiry must identify the component being accepted. ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF and AS are standard families to select from, with the applicable grade and edition specified for the order.
Coordinate cast surfaces, CNC dimensions and assembly
Machining facilities include more than 50 machining centers and more than 80 CNC machines. Shot blasting and assembly are available alongside the casting and machining route. Distinguish the blasted exterior, controlled machined surfaces and assembly interfaces on the component drawing so that finish and fit requirements can be assessed separately.
Define the inspection plan for this carbon steel part
Visual inspection and gauge inspection each cover 100% of these cast components. MT, UT, RT and CMM are also inspection options; choose the methods and acceptance criteria that address the actual geometry and defects of concern. Qualification includes IATF16949 and ISO14001 certification, with the current certificate scope to be confirmed for the buyer's requirements. This connects the available checks with a specific order acceptance plan.
