Custom precision carbon- and stainless-steel casting requests serve machinery-part work through lost-wax investment casting and CNC processing. Broaching, drilling, laser machining, milling and micro-machining are actual work directions, with other machining services also available. Select the supplied material and component geometry for the requested operations.
Casting materials and broader machining directions
Carbon and stainless steel are the casting material directions. Broader machining materials include brass, bronze, copper, hardened metals, aluminum, precious metals and stainless steel. Identify the actual supplied specification and allocate casting or machining to the selected part. Define its final geometry and material acceptance requirements.
Broached, drilled, laser-machined or milled locations
Mark the drawing locations requiring each selected operation. Establish the finished dimensions, datum and mating arrangement for those areas. Relate the machining plan to the supplied material and accepted component geometry, including any other machining request that needs its own actual scope.
Define the micro-machining geometry and measurement
Micro-machining is a supported direction with the actual size and tolerance to agree. Identify the controlled small geometry on the drawing and the conditions used to measure it. Set dimensional and surface acceptance criteria for the selected machining, connecting those results to the part's required fit.
Machinery duty and custom-component acceptance
Define the working duty and interfaces for the actual machinery arrangement. Agree the dimensional, surface and functional criteria required of the supplied component. Confirm quantity and manufacturing responsibility with the chosen material, casting/machining allocation and inspection methods and records for drawing acceptance.
