Develop an alloy steel part through its casting, machined geometry and heat-treatment requirements. The service combines lost-wax investment casting with CNC machining, quenching and tempering, shot blasting and assembly scope.

Set the alloy and heat-treatment requirement

Choose the complete alloy steel grade and the standard specification for the component. Quenching and tempering support uses two mesh-belt furnaces, with the required treatment acceptance agreed for the selected part. Describe the condition the finished material needs to meet and connect it to the actual component duty.

Define machining and assembly responsibilities

Machining support includes 50+ machining centers and 80+ CNC machines. Identify the features that require CNC work and the dimensions or surfaces that need finished-part acceptance. Agree the shot-blasting and assembly requirements as part of the same component scope.

Select the inspection plan for the casting

Inspection support covers MT, UT, RT, 100% visual inspection, 100% gauge inspection and CMM. Establish the methods and criteria needed for the particular alloy steel part. Identify which features or areas require those checks and which records are needed to demonstrate the agreed acceptance.

Complete the material and quality agreement

Standard directions include ASTM, AISI, DIN, BS, JIS, NF and AS. Specify the complete standard and grade that should govern the part, together with its drawing and heat-treatment acceptance. IATF16949 and ISO14001 are certification references for the service; establish the relevant scope when agreeing the order's manufacturing and inspection requirements.
